Otters Triumph at Tadpoles Gala & in Echo Cup Comp

The Otters swimmers got off to a flying start to the 2011/12 season picking up medals in the first gala of the Tadpoles League and beating all comers in the first round of the Echo Cup.
In the Tadpoles - Ben Smith secured Gold in the 10 yrs 50m Backstroke and Lucy Boswell Bronze in the 9yrs 50m Breaststroke.
In the Echo Cup the Otters team led five other teams including Southport, Penguins & Garston from the off and managed to hang on to that lead. But the competition was stiff and in the end Otters finished with the slenderest of margins. Well done to all who took part on an excellent set of swims with no DQs.
