Otters take medals at Winsford and Wirral
Saturday 7thJuly seen a fantastic turnout of 20 Otters at Winsford's summer meet.
The hosts made us feel very welcome and the swimmers obviously felt at home as they achieved a series of PB's and a haul of medals. All personal times have been updated.
We collected 38 medals, which 20 Gold, 15 Silver and 3 Bronze. This was the first time many of the swimmers had attended an ASA meet and the experience will help them for the future events we will be attending. The team behaved so well poolside and supported each other throughout the day. I'm sure everyone will agree it was a very successful day.

Wirral Metro 7th and 8thJuly
Not to be forgotten where the more experienced competitors who swam at Wirral Metro Saturday 7thand Sunday 8th July. All times have now been updated.
Those medal winners: Anna Hulme 3 Gold, 1 silver & 3 Bronze, Mia Smith 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze and Ethan Scrutton 1 Silver.
At both events there were plenty of PB's.
All times achieved at these meets can be used for other external competitions. This is the first step hopefully to getting as many Otters to the Age Group Championships at Blackpool in 2013 and the County Championships normally held in March 2013.
