Otters Sparkle in Medals Haul

Several Otters were in action during the Bonfire week-end with impressive results.
9 Otters attended the NLSWPA Development Meet at Blackpool
Golds went to Anna Hulme (50 Fly); Ben Smith (100 IM) Rachael Thompson (200 Free)
Silver to Anna Hulme (100 & 200m Fly) & Rachael Thompson (50 Fly)
Bronze to Lucy Boswell (100 IM) & Eleanor Rea (200 Breast)
In addition Speeding Tickets were awarded in respect of 9 results which meant that the entrants had exceeded the Upper Qualifying Time for the event - no medal was therefore awarded but the time still counts for the ASA rankings & you've never seen a more delighted bunch of kids at the prospect of a ticket!

Meanwhile at the appropriately named Firecracker Meet in Sunderland Hannah Kelsall & Emily Spencer were swimming with COLSC.
Hannah bagged Gold in both the 50m Back & 200m IM; Silver in both the 100 & 200m Back and Bronze in 100m F/S, narrowly missing out on the medals in her three other races.
Emily PB'd in all 6 of her races just missing out on the medals with two 4th & one 5th place.
An impressive set of results across the board so early in the season.
