North Lancs District Champs - Week 2
The Otters continued to collect medals in the second and final week-end of the competition.
Emily Spencer (11yrs) added a further 4 medals to her first week's haul:
First: 50m Back & 200m IM (also bagging a Regional QT with the Medley swim)
Second: 200m Back
Third: 50m Fly
That brought Emily's total medal count to 9 out of 12 events and earned her the Girls 11years BAGCAT award.
Emily also secured NW Region (12yrs/under) QTs in her both her 100m Breast & F/S Swims, giving her four Regional times from this meet.
Very well done Emily.
Ben Smith (10 years) bagged third place with a belting swim in his 400m Freestyle, slashing nearly 20 Seconds off his entry time with a time of 5:38.87.
Eleanor Rea (9yrs) & Rachael Thompson (10yrs ) were both placed sixth in the overall BAGCATS.
